Carriage Driving
Vouchers are available to purchase for Christmas or Birthdays and are valid for 12 months.
Our Carriage Driving Experience sessions are an opportunity not to be missed. The sessions are run for 90 minutes as follows:
Weekdays: £100
Weekends: £125
Weekday sessions can only be provisionally booked in advance then confirmed 10 days prior due to our funeral service.
Inclusive of 4 people - 1 person taking the reins and 3 additional family/friends sitting on the carriage and enjoying the ride.
Session involves 10/15 minutes in our arena for instructions, followed by driving out in the surrounding lanes. All sessions are with a pair of horses.

Please note that once purchased, vouchers are non refundable, but can be transferred to another recipient as long as used within the 12 month validity.

Had a lovely time yesterday with Madgewick Carriage Masters. My mum had a carriage ride experience where she drove the carriage. None of us have ever riden and Madgewick Carriage Masters were really brilliant at teaching my mum how to drive the carriage. After 15 minutes learning the basics we were out on the road and what made it better was we could go with her 😁. Can't recommend Madgewick highly enough, it's a fun time for any age and experience. What an amazing time I had this morning with Ant and Dec the Fresian stallions. Kevin took me into the sand school first to familiarise me how to guide the boys, then we went out onto the roads. My Dad has always wanted to have a go at carriage driving so for Christmas I bought him a voucher for Madgwick Carriages for a carriage driving experience. Now at the age of 77 he hasn’t had much to do with horses since he was a teenager but today we spent the most brilliant morning with Kevin and the absolutely beautiful Ant & Dec, Kevin’s Friesian stallions. Kevin was so welcoming and brilliant at showing dad how to work the reins, he had a little lesson in the school and then we were off out onto the lanes. Ant & Dec were so well behaved and you can clearly see the bond they have with Kevin. We had a lovely time and Dad really enjoyed himself, definitely one to remember!
